HOUSTON – A trio of workers assert they were injured in an explosion earlier this year at a La Porte plant.

Adolfo Diaz, Felix Garza, and Michael Romero are suing Linde Gas North America LLC in response to the event in question last Feb. 14.

Their lawsuit, which was filed on June 7 in the Harris County 80th District Court, claim “the explosion was caused by over-pressurized vessels.”

“The defendant allowed too much pressure too much pressure to be channeled into pipes and vessels at its facility in La Porte, Texas,” court documents state.

The men argue they did nothing to contribute to their injuries.

Consequently, they seek unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

Lawrence P. “Larry” Wilson of The Lanier Law Firm, P.C. in Houston serves as their lead counsel.
