GALVESTON – The owners of a Galveston home allege they paid for shutters that were never delivered or installed.
Gina M. Wilson and Steve T. Wilson filed a complaint on June 8 in the Galveston County District Court against Jake Villa Inc., also known as Funky Chunky Monkey, et al. alleging breach of contract and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in July 2016, they contracted the defendants for the delivery and installation of shutters on their home and paid a down payment of $975. They allege the shutters were never delivered or installed and that they have not received a refund.
The plaintiffs seek monetary relief of $100,000 or less and all other relief to which they are justly entitled. They are represented by Ronald C. Campana in Houston.
