HOUSTON – A woman alleges she was injured at a Houston club when she fell in water.

Adria Jones filed a complaint on June 11 in the Harris County District Court against Barbarella Houston LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 5, 2017, she was dancing at defendant's Barbarella Club when she slipped on a puddle of water from a leaking air conditioning unit. She alleges she suffered severe injuries resulting in pain, mental anguish, disfigurement, physical impairment and medical expenses as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Barbarella Houston LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly maintain the air conditioning unit and failed to provide warnings or caution of the potential danger of the leakage.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and such other and further relief to which she may show herself justly entitled. She is represented by Scott R. Frase, Kraig L. Rushing and Barrett W. Beck of Bronston Legal PC in Houston and Hilda L. Sibrian of The Law Offices of Hilda L. Sibrian PC in Houston.
