HOUSTON – A Fort Bend County couple alleges the husband's knee was injured during a flight by airline attendants.

Anthony Q. Samuel and Cherie Samuel filed a complaint on June 14 in the Harris County District Court against Spirit Airlines Inc. John Doe and Jane Doe alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 20, 2017, they were ticketed passengers on Spirit Airlines' flight when Anthony Samuel's knee was injured by defendant's flight attendants, who were pushing and pulling a heavy metal service cart along the aisle of the aircraft.

The plaintiffs hold Spirit Airlines Inc. John Doe and Jane Doe responsible because defendants flight attendants allegedly failed to keep proper lookout, failed to warn passengers of a known hazard and failed to maintain a safe aircraft cabin for passengers.

The plaintiffs seek monetary relief of more than $1 million and such other and further relief both general and special. They are represented by Muhammad S. Aziz of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Aziz in Houston and John D. McKay of Park Avenue Law LLC in Winter Park, Florida.
