HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges that he was injured at a Houston location because of a hole in the pavement at the property.

David Vice filed a complaint on June 21 in the Harris County District Court against Houston Aquarium Inc. and Landry's Inc. alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 8, 2016, he sustained serious injuries when he tripped and fell due to a large hole in the pavement at defendants' premises. He alleges he suffered injuries resulting in pain, mental anguish, medical expenses, reduction of earnings and physical impairment.

The plaintiff holds Houston Aquarium Inc. and Landry's Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain the property in a reasonable manner and failed to provide warning.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, plus interest, costs and such other and further relief to which he may show himself justly entitled. He is represented by Loren G. Klitsas and Jared W. Capps of Klitsas & Vercher PC in Houston.
