HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges the condition of the floor in a Channelvies restaurant caused him to fall.

James Crowley filed a complaint on June 27 in the Harris County District Court against AMLEH & Sons 3 LLC, doing business as Golden Corral, alleging negligence and premises liability.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 22, he was injured at defendant's Golden Corral restaurant when he tripped and fell on a floor that was in a condition of disrepair.

The plaintiff holds AMLEH & Sons 3 LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make the condition reasonably safe and failed to warn invitees of the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he is justly entitled. He is represented by Jeffrey N. Todd of The Todd Law Group PLLC in Houston.
