HOUSTON – A customer of a Houston restaurant alleges she was injured because of a wet floor.

Ashley Richard filed a complaint on June 29 in the Harris County District Court against Greg Kubala, doing business as Chick-Fil-A, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 17, 2016, she sustained injuries to her entire body when she slipped on a newly mopped floor at defendant's Chick-Fil-A restaurant.

The plaintiff holds Kubala, doing business as Chick-Fil-A, responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect its premises to discover a dangerous condition and failed to place warning signs around the mopped floor.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief between $100,000 and $200,000 and such other relief that are lawful and equitable. She is represented by Andrea Roth of Roth & Associates in Houston.
