HOUSTON – An employee of a Cypress spa is alleged to have caused burns on a Harris County resident.

Craig Latson filed a complaint on July 2 in the Harris County District Court against Nguyen Gossiplulu-Co Corp., doing business as Gossip & Co. Nail Spa, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 2, 2016, he was burned when the defendant's employee placed a hot towel on him.

The plaintiff holds Nguyen Gossiplulu-Co Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to exercise ordinary and reasonable care.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and all other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Lorren G. Klitsas and Jared W. Capps of Klitsas & Vercher PC in Houston.
