HOUSTON – A Houston woman alleges she was injured at the Houston Aquarium in a fall.

Eva Sproule filed a complaint on July 5 in the Harris County District Court against Houston Aquarium Inc. alleging that the entertainment company failed to exercise ordinary care to avoid harm to their invitees.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 9, 2016, she was injured when she fell due to the negligent activity of defendant. She alleges she sustained injuries resulting in medical expenses, pain and suffering, mental anguish and physical disfigurement.

The plaintiff holds Houston Aquarium Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make the premises safe by removing the defects and failed to warn her about it.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief in an amount between $100,000 and $400,000, plus interest, costs and such other and further relief for which she shall forever pray. She is represented by Michael E. Fisher of Dyment & Fisher in Houston.
