HOUSTON – A guest at a Houston property alleges she suffered brain and head injuries after slipping on water in the lobby.

Claudia Behm filed a complaint on July 10 in the Harris County District Court against U.S. Reif Sawyer Heights Lofts Texas LLC and Greystar Real Estate Partners LLC

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 7, 2017, she was at defendants' U.S. Reif Sawyer Heights Lofts Texas' lobby when she slipped on a large pool of water, causing her to fall and hit her head on the floor.

The plaintiff holds U.S. Reif Sawyer Heights Lofts Texas LLC and Greystar Real Estate Partners LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to inspect the premises to discover the dangerous condition and to make it safe and failed to warn or inform their guests of the existing danger.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which she is entitled. She is represented by Christopher L. Morrell of Morrell Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
