HOUSTON – A fast food employee claims his manager physically assaulted him almost two years ago.

In a lawsuit filed on July 11 in the Harris County 125th District Court, Keishunn Gallien recalls Devaughn N. Thomas starting an argument with him while he was working in the kitchen at a Houston area Sonic on July 17, 2016.

Thomas allegedly yelled profanities at Gallien and proceeded to attack the plaintiff.

According to Gallien, the manager grabbed him from behind, threw him to the ground, bashed his head into the floor, and beat him up.

Another Sonic worker intervened and told the complainant to leave the premises.

The restaurant joins Thomas as a co-defendant in the case.

Consequently, Gallien seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by Terence J. Anderson of Houston.
