HOUSTON – A guest at a Houston business alleges his hand was injured by a forklift operated by an employee.

Frank Wayne Joseph filed a complaint on July 17 in the Harris County District Court against GAC Energy & Marine Services LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in May 14, he was injured at defendant's business premises when its staff member operated a forklift in an unsafe manner and caused it to collide with his finger and hand.

The plaintiff holds GAC Energy & Marine Services LLC responsible because the defendant's employee allegedly failed to maintain control of the forklift, failed to pay proper attention to the surroundings and failed to sound any warning of the impending danger.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of no less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Matthew C. Stano of The Stano Law Firm in Humble.
