HOUSTON – A guest at a Harris County sports bar alleges a substance on the floor caused her to fall.

Pearl Gonzales filed a complaint on July 18 in the Harris County District Court against Roborms LLC and The Spot Club alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 20, 2017, she was lawfully present at defendants' sports bar when she fell because of a substance spilled on the floor. She alleges she suffered injuries resulting in pain, mental anguish, medical expenses, disfigurement and loss of earnings because of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Roborms LLC and The Spot Club responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to take remedial actions to remove the spilled substance on the floor and failed to properly warn invitees of the slippery substance on the floor.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and all other relief to which she is justly entitled. She is represented by J. Moises Cedillos of Cedillos Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
