Weber’s Air & Heat alleges Clear the Air defaulted on promissory note

GALVESTON – A Galveston County company alleges that another company failed to make payments under a promissory note.

Weber’s Air & Heat LLC filed a complaint on July 23 in the Galveston County District Court against Clear the Air LLC alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 12, 2017, the plaintiff sold all or substantially all of its assets to defendant and financed $75,000 of a portion of the sales price of the assets. The plaintiff alleges the defendant defaulted on the note.

The plaintiff holds Clear the Air LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly did not make the required payments for February, March, April, May or June.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of less than $100,000, plus interest, costs, attorneys’ fees and expenses and any other relief to which it is entitled. It is represented by Kevin C. Corcoran and Matthew “Gus” Knebel of Mills Shirley LLP in Galveston.
