HOUSTON – A man alleges he was injured when his vehicle was struck by a Seabrook fire truck.

Alan Barnes filed a complaint on July 25 in the Harris County District Court against the city of Seabrook alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 29, 2016, he was attempting to make a left turn on a green light at the intersection of El Mar and Bayport Boulevard when Nathan Douglas caused the fire truck owned by defendant to collide with his vehicle. The suit states Douglas did not have the vehicle's lights or sirens on and failed to yield to the right of way.
