GALVESTON – An Iowa corporation alleges a former employee residing in League City has breached a nonsolicitation agreement he signed.

Medtec Inc. filed a complaint on July 30 in the Galveston County District Court against Jesse Nieto and Rad Onc Solutions LLC alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, Nieto was hired by the plaintiff in 2015 and was promoted to product specialist, IGRT solutions in January 2017. The suit states Nieto entered into a confidentiality, intellectual property, noncompetition and nonsolicitation agreement when he was hired.

The plaintiff alleges Nietro left its employment in 2018 and became sole manager of Rad Onc. The suit states the defendants hired another former Medtec employee and that employee solicited one of the plaintiff's customers in violation of the agreement Nieto signed.

The plaintiff holds Nieto and Rad Onc Solutions LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly interfered with its business relationships.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual, punitive and exemplary damages; interest; costs; fees and expenses; and such other and further relief as the court may deem proper. It is represented by Kellen R. Scott of Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry PC in Houston.
