HOUSTON – A local man blames a fall last year in his front yard on drilling performed by Century Engineering, Inc. according to a state district lawsuit filed on July 31.

Plaintiff Robert E. King says the incident occurred on July 1, 2017 when he was mowing his lawn.

“While mowing King stepped in a hole which was drilled or caused to be drilled by the defendant,” the suit says.

King says he suffered injuries to his knee and back because of the fall. Court documents accuse Century of trespass and negligence.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages.

H. Ronald Welsh of The Welsh Law Firm, PLLC in Houston serves as King’s lead counsel.
