GALVESTON – A Galveston driver is facing a suit over a rear-end collision in the city.

Jerome Kershaw filed a complaint on July 31 in the Galveston County District Court against Kevin Angeles alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 15, he was traveling east on Seawall Boulevard in Galveston when the defendant struck the back of his vehicle, causing his vehicle to collide with the vehicle in front of him. He alleges he sustained injuries resulting in mental and physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment and loss of earnings as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Angeles responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to timely apply the brakes, failed to control his speed and failed to maintain a proper lookout.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but not more than $200,000 and such and further relief to which he may show himself justly entitled. He is represented by Alton C. Todd of The Law Firm of Alton C. Todd in Friendswood.
