HOUSTON – A local restaurant faces a personal injury lawsuit from one of its employees, recent Harris County District Court records show.

Rajaa Dow claims in the 6-page suit filed on Sept. 5 in the Harris County 61st District Court that The French Corner operates “with little regard to the safety of its employees and workers.”

According to the suit, the eatery located at 1104 Old Spanish Trail “forced” the plaintiff to use defective equipment. The equipment failed and caused Dow to suffer “severe lacerations, cut (sic), and other injuries,” the complaint says.

Consequently, Dow seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

The Pinkerton Law Firm, PLLC in Houston is representing the complainant.
