HOUSTON – Alleging she was injured almost two years ago when a golf cart type vehicle struck her at her place of work in the northwest part of the city, local resident Maria Guadalupe Salinas has filed a lawsuit.

Salinas says in court documents filed against Relik Realty, LLC on Sept. 4 in the Harris County 152nd District Court that the single-vehicle accident occurred at the leasing office of the Waterford Grove Apartments on Dec. 4, 2016.

Another employee reportedly operated the vehicle inside the office, lost control, and smashed into the plaintiff’s desk. Emergency responders subsequently transported Salinas to Memorial Hermann Hospital.

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

She is represented by S. Greg Rushing of The Rushing Law Firm in Houston.
