Bradley is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Davis, Ian P. Faria, and S. David Smith, partners in the firm’s Houston office, have been named 2018 Texas Super Lawyers and recognized as leading lawyers in the state.

Co-chair of Bradley’s Oil and Gas Law team, Mr. Davis was named a Texas Super Lawyer for Civil Litigation: Defense. He represents energy sector companies in complex oil and gas litigation involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, surface and downhole tool incidents, and royalty and mineral interest disputes. In addition, he represents clients in a variety of commercial and construction litigation matters, including contractual disputes, business torts, products liability, construction, warranty, real estate, and trade secret litigation.
Mr. Davis received his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
A member of Bradley’s Construction and Government Contracts Practice Group and managing partner of the firm’s Texas offices, Mr. Faria was named a Texas Super Lawyer for Construction Litigation: Business. He serves as office managing partner for the firm’s Houston office and focuses his practice on megaprojects in all construction disciplines, including infrastructure, commercial, industrial and residential construction law. He represents developers, general contractors, subcontractors, homebuilders, and business owners in a variety of disputes, as well as in OSHA compliance and investigation matters.
Mr. Faria received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University.
Mr. Smith was named a Texas Super Lawyer for Consumer Law. He focuses his practice primarily on providing counsel to financial service companies across a number of states, representing lenders and servicers in the mortgage, auto finance, credit card, payday and auto title lending areas. He has represented clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, with a particular focus in financial services, consumer finance, and real property. Mr. Smith is board certified in Consumer and Commercial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He also served as chair of the Board of Trustees of the Texas Center for Legal Ethics.
Mr. Smith received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
