HOUSTON – A Harris County man claims that a taxi ride two years ago ended with him suffering a fall.

Donald Jones’s lawsuit, which was filed on Sept. 13 in the Harris County 190th District Court, alleges a driver for the Greater Houston Transportation Co., doing business as Yellow Cab, failed to assist the wheelchair-bound plaintiff as he went down the ramp at his destination.

Jones says that his wheelchair flipped over backward and caused him to hit the ground head first.

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages.

The Law Office of Frederick L. McGuire in Liberty is representing Jones.
