GALVESTON – A man alleges the negligence of a Galveston medical facility now requires him to need assistance.
Amir Taymoori filed a complaint on Sept. 17 in the Galveston County District Court against University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston alleging negligence and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in September 2016, he was in jail and needed medical attention. He alleges following a surgery, he was denied his medication. He alleges he requires assistance because of his injuries resulting from the defendant's negligence.
The plaintiff holds University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to exercise an ordinary duty of care.
The plaintiff seeks actual and punitive damages, plus interest, court costs, attorney fees, consequential damages and all other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Robert R. Jones III in Houston.
