GREENBERG & TRAURIG: Alicia Voltmer Joins Greenberg Traurig’s Dallas Office

Greenberg Traurig issued the following announcement on Sept. 19.

Alicia Sienne Voltmer, certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, has joined the Dallas office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP as of counsel. Greenberg Traurig has more than 125 attorneys in Texas and is tactically expanding its presence in the state with additional offices in Austin and Houston. Voltmer joins from Lillard Wise Szygenda PLLC.

“Alicia will be a significant addition to our Labor and Employment team both locally and nationally. Her broad spectrum of employment law experience and agility to advise both Fortune 500 companies as well as emerging startup companies will be of great value,” Dallas Managing Shareholder Joseph F. Coniglio said. “We are very excited to add her to our team in Dallas and we look forward to her contributions to our clients.”

Voltmer represents employers of all sizes in a wide variety of matters. She handles mediations arbitrations, administrative hearings, and court proceedings involving numerous state and federal laws including the ADA, ADEA, EPA, ERISA, FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, NLRA, Title VII, the TCHRA, and the OWBPA, among others.

In addition, she routinely counsels employers on day-to-day employment matters involving reductions in force, disciplinary actions, accommodations, and hiring and firing matters. Voltmer also provides comprehensive training to employees and managers; conducts investigations, drafts and revises handbooks, restrictive covenants, arbitration, employment and separation agreements, and drafts client-specific policies.

Voltmer, a two-time Academic and Athletic All-American swimmer, received her J.D. from California Western School of law, and her M.L.A and B.A. magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University.
