HOUSTON – A Houston man alleges a surgery was negligently performed on his back and now he is unable to perform the essential functions of his job.

John Williams and Mercedes Williams filed a complaint on Sept. 18 in the Harris County District Court against William Watters, MD; Bone and Joint Clinic of Houston and Bone & Joint Clinic of Houston PA alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on July 8, 2016, Watters performed surgery on John Williams' back due to the injury he sustained on or about Aug. 27, 2015. He alleges as a result of defendants' negligence, he is not able to perform the essential functions of his job.

The plaintiffs hold Watters, MD; et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently performed the surgery on his back.

The plaintiffs seek monetary relief of more than $1 million and such other and further relief to which plaintiffs are entitled. They are represented by Charles R. Houssiere III and Randal A. Kauffman of Houssiere, Durant & Houssiere LLP in Houston.
