HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges he was assaulted by another worker at a Houston work site.

Humberto Rivera Salinas filed a complaint on Sept. 27 in the Harris County District Court against W & W Telephone Co., Anthony J. Bossier, et al. alleging assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 16, 2017, he was working for Cubix Commercial Solutions installing cubicles in a building where defendants were also working. He alleges Bossier and Doe 1, employees of W & W, punched him and "beat him severely."

As a result of defendants' alleged outrageous conduct, the suit states the plaintiff sustained disabling injuries to his head, face, neck, chest, shoulders, ribs and back.

The plaintiff holds W & W Telephone Co., Bossier, et al. responsible because defendants Bossier and Doe 1 allegedly committed battery and W & W breached their duty to supervise and train competent agents.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million and all other and further relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Sergio J. Villasana in Houston.
