HOUSTON – An assisted living facility has been sued by one of its employees after she reportedly suffered an on the job back injury, recent Harris County District Court records show.
Heidy Sanchez filed a lawsuit against Silverado Senior Living Management, Inc. on Oct. 8 in the Harris County 295th District Court.
Sanchez states that she was transferring an overweight patient last Feb. 28 when she injured her back and several parts of her body. The defendant reportedly did not provide proper equipment to assist Sanchez in completing the task.
Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
