HOUSTON – A state district lawsuit has been filed over an alleged shooting at a local gentlemen’s club.

Vicente Jesus Villanueva claims in court documents filed against G Cabaret Management Corp. and RCI Holdings Inc. on Oct. 9 in the Harris County 113th District Court that he was a victim of the July 22 shooting.

According to Villanueva, he was assaulted and shot “at least five times.”

He faults the defendants for failing to spot and confiscate the purported weapon used against him prior to the incident.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by Kyle C. Herbert and Rachel E. Berkley of the Herbert Law Firm, PLLC in Houston.
