HOUSTON – A litigation support service claims in a state district lawsuit that a Corpus Christi area attorney and his practice owes it nearly $4,000.

In court documents filed on Oct. 10 in the Harris County 127th District Court, Gates & Gates, Ltd., doing business as Team Legal, demands William J. Tinning and The Law Office of William J. Tinning, P.C. pay it $3,567.30 for work performed.

“The defendants have failed and refused to make payments as required after receiving demand from the plaintiff,” the suit says. “The account represents a transaction of a series of transactions which a systematic record has kept.”

Stephanie A. Roman of the Roman Law Firm, P.C. in Houston is representing the plaintiff.
