Ky. woman sues Amazon over injuries sustained at local distribution center

HOUSTON – Claiming she sustained injuries at a local Amazon distribution center earlier this year, Owensboro, Ky. resident Patricia Salmon has filed a lawsuit.

Salmon brought the suit against Amazon.com Services, Inc. on Oct. 11 in the Harris County 234th District Court.

Court filings explain that the plaintiff was at the defendant’s facility on Ella Boulevard for her delivery last Feb. 6 when “boxes came crashing down on her” after she opened the door of the trailer she was hauling.

She blames Amazon for failing to properly load and secure the trailer in addition to failing give adequate warning.

Consequently, Salmon seeks unspecified monetary damages.
