GALVESTON – A Harris County woman is suing Angel Brothers Enterprises, Ltd. after she was allegedly injured by one of its pieces of heavy machinery.

Pennie Goodie filed a lawsuit against the Baytown-based business on Oct. 11 in the Galveston County 122nd District Court, stating that a milling machine ran over her vehicle with her inside.

Goodie was providing security for the jobsite at the time of the subject incident. She was blocking traffic for the machine as it moved to and from the jobsite, the suit says.

The defendant is faulted for not performing the task in a proper and safe manner.

Consequently, Goodie seeks unspecified monetary damages.

Kraig L. Rushing and Barrett Beck of the law firm Bronston Legal PC in Houston is representing the plaintiff.
