HOUSTON – A Harris County woman claims that she slipped and fell in a downtown Houston tunnel while on the way to perform jury duty.

Bridgette Jones-Foster faults Ambassador Services, LLC for the incident in a lawsuit filed on Oct. 12 in the Harris County 61st District Court.

According to court documents, the defendant was hired by Harris County to clean and maintain the 1401 Congress St. Tunnel. Jones-Foster alleges that the business “left some water on the floor from a mop bucket.”

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages.

She is represented by Joseph Onwuteaka of the Law Office of Joseph Onwuteaka, P.C. in Houston.
