BEAUMONT – A Sour Lake resident alleges two Port Arthur physicians failed to perform an adequate tubal ligation.

Natasha Nicole-Desiron McCray filed a complaint on Oct. 3 in the Jefferson County District Court against Dr. Charles Moses and Dr. Frank Krull alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Moses performed a cesarean section and permanent elective sterilization on the plaintiff in October 2016, and Krull performed a pathology confirming two tubal segments. She alleges on Jan. 19, she sought medical attention from her primary care physician because of subchorionic hemorrhaging and was informed she was pregnant. She later had a second procedure to have tubal ligation done.

The plaintiff holds Moses and Krull responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to perform the necessary procedure in tubal ligation and failed to properly monitor and assess plaintiff's condition.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Brian D. Sutton of Sutton & Jacobs LLP in Beaumont.
