HOUSTON – Claiming he was injured more than four months ago while riding a Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County light rail train, local resident Dwight Edmondson has pursued legal action.

Edmondson’s suit against METRO, which was filed on Oct. 25 in the Harris County 125th District Court, alleges that “the train doors suddenly and unexpectedly closed on the plaintiff as the train began to take off. According to Edmondson, his left arm “was caught inside the door as it closed.”

Consequently, he seeks unspecified monetary damages.

Jeffrey N. Todd of The Todd Law Group, PLLC in Houston is representing the complainant.
