TEXARKANA – A Pittsburg, Texas woman is seeking damages from two companies over a collision in Mount Pleasant.

Rachelle Craig filed a complaint on Nov. 1 in the Texarkana Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Wheels LT, doing business as Wheels LT LLC, and Fastenal Co. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 25, she was traveling on East Ferguson Road in Mount Pleasant when defendants' employee, Mitchell Gordon, struck her vehicle. She alleges she sustained severe permanent and disabling injuries which resulted in pain, mental anguish, lost wages, medical expenses and disfigurement.

The plaintiff holds Wheels LT and Fastenal Co. responsible because defendants' employee failed to maintain a safe distance, negligently traveled in an excessive rate of speed and failed to maintain a proper lookout.

The plaintiff seeks actual and punitive damages, interest, costs and such other and further relief to which she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Jimmy M. Negem and Joe M. Worthington of Negem & Worthington in Tyler.
