HOUSTON – Two Harris County property sellers allege the buyer breached their commercial contract.
Henry Blair and Gloria Blair filed a complaint on Nov. 6 in the Harris County District Court against Terremark Ventures LLC and Charter Title Co. alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, in July, the plaintiffs and Terremark entered into a commercial contract for the defendant to purchase plaintiffs' 5-acre real property. The suit states the defendant has not deposited an additional $20,000 as required under the contract as earnest money.
The plaintiffs hold Terremark Ventures LLC and Charter Title Co. responsible because Terremark Ventures allegedly failed to pay the plaintiffs the additional earnest money and to execute the release to Charter Title.
The plaintiffs seek monetary relief of $100,000 or less and such other and further relief to which they are entitled. They are represented by John Dorsa and Deborah Essig Taylor of Houston.
