HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges he was injured when he fell while unloading motorcycles.

Salvador Avila filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in the Harris County District Court against Boss Hoss Cycles of Houston LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 29, 2016, he was removing motorcycles from a container under the instruction of the defendant. He alleges while removing a motorcycle, he felt pain in his back and fell and a motorcycle fell on top of him.

The plaintiff holds Boss Hoss Cycles of Houston LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make necessary safety inspections to apprise itself of the safety issues and failed to enforce proper and effective safety programs, instructions and training.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he may be justly entitled. He is represented by J. Moises Cedillos of Cedillos Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
