HOUSTON – Two Montgomery County individuals allege negligence contributed to the death of their mother.

Brandon Green and Austin Green, individually and as representatives of the estate of Betsy Honeycutt, deceased filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in the Harris County District Court against North Houston - TRMC LLC, doing business as Tomball Regional Medical Center, et al. alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, on March 5, Honeycutt presented to the Tomball Regional Medical Center emergency room with a two-day history of nausea, vomiting and generalized weakness. The suit states a cardiac catheterization was done on March 7 and she later died.

The plaintiffs holds North Houston - TRMC LLC, doing business as Tomball Regional Medical Center, et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to document that the arterial puncture site was routinely assessed following the cardiac catheterization.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek actual and exemplary damages, interest, costs and such other and further relief to which they may be justly entitled. They are represented by Steven R. Davis and John A. Davis Jr. of Davis & Davis Attorneys at Law in Houston.
