HOUSTON – A patient alleges the negligence of a dental clinic caused him to suffer two strokes.

Reginald Penright filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in the Harris County District Court against Mint Dentistry PLLC; Alina Nadea, DDS; and Kristen Jefferson, DDS alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that while he was under the defendants' care, they used an excessive amount of Lidocaine and other medications, which caused him to have an acute ischemic vertebrobasilar artery thalamic stroke and right and lacunar stroke in November 2016.

The plaintiff holds Mint Dentistry PLLC, Nadea and Jefferson responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly asses, monitor, diagnose and treat his medical condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, costs of court, interest and such other and further relief to which he may be entitled. He is represented by Debra V. Jennings of the Law Office of Debra V. Jennings in Missouri City.
