HOUSTON – The law firms of Orihuela & Associates, PLLC and Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Aziz have filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Spring couple who allege that their residence experienced a sewage overflow last year, according to recent Harris County District Court records.

Paul and Kim Cluff’s suit, which was filed on Nov. 21 in the Harris County 157th District Court, accuses GW Communications, LLC of trespassing on the plaintiffs’ property and damaging a sewage line on Dec. 31, 2017.

According to court documents, the complainants “got sick as a result of the incident.”

“The damage to the home was severe enough to where the plaintiffs and their children had to move out of their home until (the) home was free of the sewage,” the original petition says.

Consequently, the Cluffs seek $350,000 in damages.
