HOUSTON – Former employees of a Houston counseling service allege they are owed unpaid wages.

Ciera Freeman, et al., individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, filed a complaint on Nov. 20 in the Harris County District Court against Evolve Outreach of Texas LLC and Victor Moody alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege during their employment with Evolve, they worked more than 40 hours per week and were only paid $500 per week despite working full time and overtime hours.

The plaintiffs hold Evolve Outreach of Texas LLC and Moody responsible because the defendants allegedly intentionally failed to track the hours they worked to avoid paying them for all hours worked.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek unpaid regular and overtime wages, back pay, interest, attorney's fees and costs of court. They are represented by Hessam Parzivand of The Parzivand Law Firm PLLC in Stafford.
