TEXARKANA – An Oklahoma man has implicated FedEx Corp. and one of its employees in a federal lawsuit arising from 2017 two-vehicle accident.

In the suit filed on Nov. 29 in the Texarkana Division of the Eastern District of Texas, Curt Alan Denton claims that Daniel Van Norman’s company vehicle failed to yield and turned in front of his vehicle on Highway 290.

Denton reportedly suffered “significant orthopedic and internal injuries” as a result of the collision and was transported by ambulance to Titus Regional Medical Center. The plaintiff was then transferred to Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.

Consequently, Denton seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by the law firm Wyly~Rommel, PLLC in Texarkana.
