HOUSTON – A Harris County man has filed a lawsuit after he purportedly suffered “traumatic” head injuries while shopping at a northeast Houston convenience store earlier this year.

Thomas Leon’s suit against B&G Real Estate Partnership, which was filed on Nov. 30 in the Harris County 151st District Court, explains that Leon was at the Q Mart at 631 Uvalde Rd. last Aug. 28 when one of the business’s roof tiles “fell and struck him in the head.”

According to recent court documents, the defendant bore responsibility for the roof’s repair.

Consequently, Leon seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by the law firm Brian White & Associates, P.C. in Houston.
