HOUSTON – A man alleges he was injured when a vehicle fell off of its jack and onto him at a Houston property.

Jeremy Dalton filed a complaint on Nov. 29 in the Harris County District Court against Astro Inn LTD alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 7, 2017, he was assisting an employee at defendant's business premises with her vehicle, which was lifted up on a jack. He alleges he was injured when the jack sank into the defective asphalt and caused the vehicle to fall on him.

The plaintiff holds Astro Inn LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to correct the dangerous condition and failed to give adequate warning of the existing danger.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he may be justly entitled. He is represented by Benjamin C. Kennedy of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
