GALVESTON – An electrical business has named a local eatery in a breach of contract lawsuit.

Farmer’s Alloy Fabricating, Inc., doing business as Strand Electric, filed the suit against Gypsy Joynt, Inc., doing business Gypsy Joynt, on Dec. 11 in the Galveston County 212th District Court.

Court documents assert that the plaintiff has not received payment for work, labor and materials it provided the defendant.

“Gypsy Joynt failed to timely pay Strand Electric for the labor and materials provided in accordance with their agreement,” the original petition says.

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages.

It is represented by the law firm Mills Shirley LLP in Galveston.
