GALVESTON – A Louisiana resident is seeking damages from a railroad company over a man's death.

Dynesha Newton, as personal representative of the estate of Joshua Crocram, filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in the Galveston County District Court against BNSF Railway Co. citing the Federal Employers Liability Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 4, 2018, Crocram was in the course and scope of his employment with the defendant when he sustained fatal injuries on a bridge maintained by the defendant in Louisiana.

The plaintiff holds BNSF Railway Co. responsible because the defendant's alleged negligence caused the fatality.

The plaintiff seeks recover all damages to which she is justly entitled. She is represented by Marc A. Zito of Jones Granger in Houston.
