HOUSTON – A woman alleges a dangerous condition at a Houston parking garage caused her to fall.

Rachel Seymour filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in the Harris County District Court against Houston First Corp. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 21, 2018, she was walking in a parking garage owned and operated by the defendant on Rusk Street in Houston when she slipped and fell. She alleges she sustained physical injuries that resulted in medical expenses, pain and suffering, mental anguish, disability and disfigurement as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Houston First Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to adequately clean the premises, failed to provide adequate lighting and failed to implement adequate safety policies and procedures.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Jeffrey R. Gilbert, Rachel M. Aguilar and Steven F. Boman of Jeffrey R Gilbert PC in Angleton.
