HOUSTON – A Harris County couple alleges a Spring contractor failed to properly install a roof on their home.

Aaron Shbeeb and Amylinfrances Shbeeb filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in the Harris County District Court against Lux Roofing Systems and Tony J. Lux alleging breach of contract and breach of express warranty for services.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege on Sept. 13, 2014, they contracted the defendants to replace the roof on their home in Houston for $8,390. They allege the roof was improperly installed and leaked and the faulty installation caused significant water damage to their home.

They allege they had to hire a new contractor to repair the issues with the roof.

The plaintiff holds Lux Roofing Systems and Lux responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their obligations and duties under the contract by failing to properly install a new roof.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000. They are represented by Brittene V. Wilson of McCathern Houston in Houston.
