HOUSTON – A man alleges an elevator at a Houston location caused injuries to his neck, back and shoulder.

Alfredo C. Frausto filed a complaint on Dec. 27 in the Harris County District Court against HG Galleria I II III GP LP, et al. alleging premises liability and negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 29, 2017, he was an employee of Aztec Events and Tents and was delivering rental chairs to the Houston Galleria. He alleges as he was unloading the chairs from the Galleria's freight elevator, the top door suddenly closed on his right shoulder, causing injuries to his neck, back and shoulder.

The plaintiff holds HG Galleria I II III GP LP, et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to inspect the premises and failed to warn of dangerous conditions.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million and all other relief to which plaintiff is justly entitled. He is represented by H. Ronald Welsh of The Welsh Law Firm PLLC in Houston and Ali Mokaram and Daphne M. Cherry of Mokaram Law Firm in Houston.
