HOUSTON – A purported accident between a train and a tractor-trailer in Polk County last month has resulted in a state district lawsuit.

Lamonica Wynne filed the suit on Jan. 2 in the Harris County 151st District Court, blaming Pallet Ops, LLC and Pallet Ops – San Antonio, LLC for the Dec. 21, 2018 accident in Leggett.

Employed by the Union Pacific Railroad Corp., Wynne explains that she was operating an engine when an 18-wheeler driven by one of the defendants’ employees “inexplicably stopped on the tracks.”

The immobile vehicle caused the “violent” collision, the suit says.

Wynne claims that she sustained injuries to her neck, shoulder, back, and head.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

She is represented by The Buzbee Law Firm in Houston.
